The idea is trivial, but it is not at all trivial, because although the LIVING LIBRARY works like a real library, there are… people in the books. People like you, me, him… Seemingly ordinary people, but who differ in various ways from others with their stories. People who, because of their origin, their religion, their way of life, their opinions, their skin color, their sexual orientation or their background, have to face stereotypes, ostracism and excluding. What fate has put in a seemingly impossible situation. How did they handle it? What can we learn from such a life lesson? Here is what you can “read” during a visit to a LIVING LIBRARY. Who can become a reader? Everyone who comes to us on May 15 will receive a library card, borrow a selected living book, and talk to them. Are you ashamed to admit that you miss childhood and sometimes want to get away from problems? to the games room, full of funny and scary games that can cheer up, move, but also… exclude. In this project, the Warsaw band Analog Collective tackled the topic “being different from others”. The creators asked several dozen children between the ages of 5 and 16 to help them find an answer to the question of who is the outcast, where does it come from and how to deal with it. Children, using their simple knowledge and extraordinary imagination, analyzed the current social situation of exclusion and presented a ready-made scenario for the show. What conclusions did they come to? Child’s play! Meet the characters created based on conversations with children by the creators of Analog Collective. Masters of non-obvious form and socially engaged theater will transform the big stage of “Maski” into a bizarre puppet show, in which antics mix with violence, and childhood with adulthood. What will be the end of this pleasure? high on violence, it’s high it’s time to change your mind, “Wykluczeńcy” will help you there for sure!

approximately. 19.15 – End of the Festival
