Global supply chain issues, technology component shortages, and increasing price pressure make being a global producer a very difficult task these days. This often results in extended delivery times and regular product price revisions – neither of which is good news for customers. So how can a security camera manufacturer solve these problems?

At i-PRO, we have already made a public commitment to meet delivery deadlines and maintain current price levels. In February, we announced a fast delivery service for all key models, with availability of 2-4 days from European warehouse and 2-4 weeks from factory. Additionally, the company has pledged to maintain the price of its cameras, including AI-enabled models, despite global pricing pressure.

Milestones

The opportunity to announce this good news, especially in view of what is happening in the industry, is the result of a number of important milestones that have been reached since its separation from Panasonic last year.

Back then, we were committed to being a trusted, next-generation partner for the security industry by listening carefully to customers and quickly bringing solutions to market that meet their needs. We have also introduced a number of important factors that will make us a flexible and efficient producer and allow us to provide stability for our partners and customers.

Securing orders

The first step was to create your own direct supply channels. As a new business operating efficiently, we were able to secure multiple sources of supply for key components and bond with our suppliers for a long time. Thanks to this, we have a secure supply of chips, semiconductors and other key components for the foreseeable future.

Increased investment and modular design

Additionally, we have increased our investment in product development by 150% and transitioned to the modular design of our security cameras. This requires fewer components to be in stock, allows manufacturing facilities to produce more cameras faster, and enables the rapid development and release of new products. In this fiscal year, we will introduce 30 new AI-powered camera models, and in the next fiscal year, we plan to introduce more than 100 new camera models to meet growing and changing customer demand for a variety of products – from traditional security systems to innovative ones. Industry 4.0 applications.

Distribution in Central Europe

We have also set up a central European warehouse in the Netherlands to enable fast delivery and continue to increase sales levels of our best-selling models to ensure uninterrupted deliveries. This well-connected hard drive storage and quality assurance center is also backed by security industry logistics professionals to ensure on-time, good-quality deliveries.

Close partnership

Importantly, we also invested in our affiliate program and brought it to life. Thanks to closer cooperation with our partners than ever before, we are able to monitor possibilities and demand more closely and to adapt production to market requirements.

By combining Panasonic’s 60+ years of experience in manufacturing security cameras with the new agile i-PRO business model, we have been able to meet global supply chain challenges and continue to meet the needs of our partners and customers during this difficult time. When we put all these measures in place, we did not expect them to be so effective. However, our mission and commitment to our partners as a trusted next generation entrepreneur is to provide them with the right products, at the right time and at the right price, to enable them to grow their business.
