How are the needs of e-shops changing towards you as an integrator as the market evolves?

Thus, from an e-commerce integrator position, we have become a sales management system that accompanies the seller throughout the process, from the finalization of the order, through invoicing, to delivery. , customer contact and inventory.
Repetitive activities such as: modifying the order status, issuing a receipt and an invoice, printing a label, sending a package or sending a message to the customer are carried out automatically and do not require the intervention of an employee. I believe reaching new customers is the biggest challenge for the e-commerce industry. Omnichannel selling can be the solution. Previously, it was associated with the need for a long and costly introduction of new distribution channels. Our customers use many online stores and marketplace platforms simultaneously, and connecting the integration only takes a few minutes.
So how is your solution changing e-business management?

As a result, entrepreneurs have not only significantly reduced the costs of running e-commerce, but more importantly they have gained time which they can devote to further development. And what new services are you introducing?
We are gradually developing BaseLinker to meet the requirements of our customers. We already offer more than 500 integrations that support the daily work of sellers. The key project of the last two years has been the expansion of the Product Manager, a new warehouse which has become a product management center for many users. Now, it gives users a technological edge and streamlines many processes through automation. BaseLinker Printer completed the list of new features. Proprietary application that allows to print all documents (labels or invoices) from the panel level in one click. We have also added the Packing Assistant module, which supports the process of packing goods by recording packing history or collecting products in shopping carts in groups. It has similar capabilities to much more expensive warehouse information systems (WMS).
You’ve mastered the Polish market in one sentence, but that’s not enough for you. At the end of 2021, there were announcements of overseas expansion. What do these plans look like today?
We are a national leader among online sales management systems. We want to repeat this success on the international stage and become a global player. Overseas expansion was one of our priorities for 2021.
After extensive analysis, BaseLinker has opened up to the Czech Republic, Romania and Brazil, economies that are steadily growing in terms of e-commerce industry value. We systematically introduce integrations dedicated to foreign customers in cooperation with the most important e-commerce entities for a given market. The goal for the future is to expand the company’s activities to other foreign markets.
And what phenomena do you think will affect the entire e-commerce market in the next year or two?
Recently, we have seen a strong increase in the area of live (social) commerce. The Asian trend has definitely taken hold in Europe, as it significantly shortens the consumer’s buying journey. Online sales made live on social channels provide the opportunity to make a purchase instead of the customer’s direct contact with the brand, which increases its credibility.
Another important trend in my opinion is the omnichannel strategy. Entrepreneurs decide on solutions that are increasingly centered on the consumer and his experience with the brand. Using various sales channels is an easy way to increase brand recognition and build customer engagement on every possible level. In this context, it is worth mentioning the market platforms that show a constant upward trend. Their advantages include a low entry threshold and access to a large number of potential customers. It’s no wonder, then, that first-time sellers and big brandies decide to differentiate their sales in this way. Customers are also eager to use this convenient solution, which gives them access to a wide range. The appearance of Amazon and Shopee in Poland – two giants in the world of multi-shopping platforms – will contribute to a further rise in the GMV index. I think that the presence of the brand on the market places can prove to be a key element for its future development.
We cannot forget the q-commerce, very widespread in the era of the pandemic, that is to say the model of quick shopping whose delivery must take from 10 minutes to half an hour. The rapid expansion in the fourth quarter of 2021 leads us to believe that fast trading will stay with us for longer.
