For several weeks there have been regular news about refreshed AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards. beginning of the new generation. After weeks of rumors and speculation on performance or specifications, the manufacturer officially presents these three graphics cards. They will probably only be available in non-referenced versions (or at least that’s what we’re getting). Sales should also start today (or in the next few days). In Poland, the cards will initially be offered by sales networks such as x-kom, Sferis or Media Expert. Let’s see what exactly the refreshed RDNA 2 graphics chips offer.
AMD today officially introduces the Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT and Radeon RX 6650 XT graphics cards – refreshed graphics cards based on the RDNA 2 architecture.
The AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT is faster than the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti in 3DMark TimeSpy. We also have results from other Radeon news
As we have already mentioned in the past few weeks, the refreshed AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT and Radeon RX 6650 XT graphics cards differ in higher base clocks and higher clocked GDDR6 memory, which translates by slightly higher TBP factors, determining the total power consumption of graphics cards. AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT offers, among other things Full NAVI 21 chip with 5120 FP32 processors and 16 GB GDDR6 with an effective speed of 18 Gbps. It also offers a core clock speed of 2100 MHz in Game mode and the TBP reaches 335 W. Above all, AMD clearly states that the Radeon RX 6950 XT is competition for the GeForce RTX 3090, not the newer GeForce RTX 3090 and more powerful. Ti.

AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT – finally we learned the specification for refreshed RDNA 2 graphics cards
In the case of the Radeon RX 6750 XT, it’s a full NAVI 22 chip with 2560 FP32 processors and 12 GB of GDDR6 memory with an effective speed of 18 Gbps. The card offers a game mode clock speed of 2495 MHz. The weakest of the systems presented – Radeon RX 6650 XT – has been prepared for Full HD gaming and offers a NAVI 23 chip with 2048 FP32 processors and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory (17.5 Gbps) on a 128-bit bus. In this case, the main clock speed in Game mode reaches 2410 MHz. The following slides from Ghostwire Tokyo and Tiny Tina Wonderlands show the results in 4K resolution, recorded on an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor-based PC and AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT card.
The official MSRP price for the Radeon RX 6950 XT is $1,099 ($100 more than the Radeon RX 6900 XT), the Radeon RX 6750 XT is $549 ($479 for the base Radeon RX 6700 XT) and $399 for the Radeon RX 6650 XT ($379 for the Radeon RX 6600 XT). Each card will therefore be offered at higher suggested prices than previous models. In fact, however, it may be that due to the recent drop in card prices, the RDNA 2 chips shown today may be better available from the start, closer to their MSRP prices. For Poland, we know the preliminary prices of the Radeon RX 6650 XT and Radeon RX 6750 XT cards, and they range from 2,200 PLN to 2,600 PLN for the first of these cards and from 3,500 PLN to 3,700 PLN for the system the most powerful.
